CEO Ha Sung-min to serve as member of the GSMA Board for the two-year period from January 2013 through December 2014
SK Telecom (NYSE:SKM) announced today that President and CEO Ha Sung-min has been re-elected as a GSMA board member. The GSMA announced today that it has elected new members of the GSMA Board for the two-year period from January 2013 through December 2014.
Serving as a board member since 2010, CEO Ha Sung-min has been actively performing his role, making strong efforts to contribute to the success of the organization and development of the global mobile industry.
Besides the CEO, many senior executives of SK Telecom are participating in diverse GSMA Working Groups. SK Telecom has been also playing a pivotal role in the GSMA’s joint projects/ initiatives in various fields, including NFC and RCS, while taking part in the world-renowned exhibitions and conferences such as Mobile World Congress and Mobile Asia Expo.
SK Telecom also announced that it will participate in Mobile World Congress 2013 to be held in Barcelona, Spain, in February next year to share with the world its cutting-edge services and solutions, and to suggest ideas to facilitate the adoption of new next-generation services.
