SK Telecom Inaugurates Mobile Mail Magazine Service

SK Telecom said today that it had signed an agreement to form a strategic alliance with Email service company InfoWeb (www.infomail.co.kr) to provide mobile magazine service n.TOP@ZINE.

n.TOP@ZINE is a new mobile Internet service that users can choose categories for which they want news updates and receive contents concerning those categories from the Internet magazine through email.

n.TOP@ZINE covers more than 6,500 different topics selected by Netizens in diverse areas ranging from economics, politics to entertainment and games.

To subscribe to n.TOP@ZINE , users have to log on to the SK Telecom mobile Internet service n.TOP web site (www.n-TOP.com), get an n.TOP mail account (.@n-TOP.com), and choose the topics they want to read about from the category list.

The mail magazine selected by users are delivered automatically to the users n.TOP address whenever there is a new update. The e-magazine now in the users mailbox is moved immediately to the users mobile handset so that the user can receive the information they need in real time while he or she is on the move.

Sung-Chul Hong, head of the Wireless Data Business Division of SK Telecom, said, Our new mail magazine service will galvanize the mobile Internet contents market. We will continue to focus on developing a wide variety of contents that can fulfill the customer needs.
