For 7 years (from 1996 to this year), SK Telecom has given the precious gift of a beautiful smile to a total of 1,400 Vietnamese children.
Contributing to the friendly relationship between the two countries through a cooperative effort with the ?Semin Facial Deformities Help Foundation?

SK Telecom and ?Semin Facial Deformities Help Foundation? will give a new bright future to 200 Vietnamese children with facial deformities, by giving them free surgical operations from the 28th of this month to the 6th of next month.
These surgical operations will take place at the Thai Nguyen General Central Hospital, and will be given to children who live in the city of Thai Nguyen, which is about 80 Kilometers North of the Vietnamese capital Hanoi, and SK Telecom will pay all of the expenses.
With its humanitarian desire to support and nurture children, SK Telecom offers this loving medical care to facially deformed Vietnamese children who cannot afford the surgery. In the 7 years since 1996, a total of 1,400 children (including this year) have received the benefits of these surgeries.
"The Vietnamese children who now have healthy faces through this medical support program will grow up happily, and can
become the future of the Vietnamese society. It also plays an active part in helping to increase good relationships between Korea and Vietnam" commented Jun Dong Bae, head of SK Telecom’s Global Marketing Division.
?Semin Facial Deformities Help Foundation? was founded in 1989 as an incorporated body, and under the support of Baek Hospital of Injae University, has traveled all over the nation to perform surgical operations and give economic support. From 1996, together with SK Telecom, this foundation has also been conducting the same activity under the program ?Sharing Love Through Medical Support? in Vietnam.
