Online Internet service Netsgo’s SK Telecom said that it had been chosen as the official sponsor of the Red Cross Youth (RCY) for its project to introduce information tools and had a ceremony pledging cooperation at the Namsan Red Cross headquarters building
In an effort to help RCY members have better access to the Net, SK Telecom donated 43 computers to the Youth Counseling Rooms and the Volunteers Building and said it would provide the organization with the teaching staff and learning space for various learning programs the RCY hosts.
In addition, the company will make its Netsgo service available to RCY members at discounted rates and part of the sales proceeds will go to the fund to sponsor the activities of the RCY.
SK Telecom will continue to help the youth to raise the awareness of the importance of information by hosting a homepage contest, running the RCY homepage on Netsgo and sponsoring information classes and cyber events
