SK Telecom announced that the board members had approved a 25% rights offering at the board meeting held on the 14th.
A total of 1,666,018 registered common stocks will be issued for the rights offering and the "new share distribution" method will be adopted. The issue will be dated June 30 and a 30% discount rate will be applied.
137,956 shares, or 8.28% of the new issue, will be distributed to the SK Telecom employees and 1,528,062 shares, or 91.75%, of the new issues will be distributed at the rate of 0.22934692 per share to the existing shareholders.
The subscription for the new shares will be received on July 27 and 28.
