SK Telecom holds extraordinary shareholders meeting

SK Telecom held an extraordinary meeting of shareholders on August 27.
At the meeting, 6,190,525 shares out of 8,326,575 shares were represented constituting an extraordinary session, which proceeded in the order of presenting the audit report and deliberating the topics brought up for resolution.
The shareholders voted against the dismissal of board member Kil Seung Sohn and the revision of the Articles of Incorporation for splitting the face value of the stocks. Both failed to win the minimum 2/3 of the votes represented at the meeting. Among the other topics brought up for voting was the appointment of one outside director and Sang Jin Lee, president of International Cooperative Venture, Inc. was elected as the new director.
