SK Telecom forms strategic alliance with Havit Bank, PC Bank and Dream Wiz for internet business

SK Telecom, Hanvit Bank, PC Bank and Dream Wiz held a ceremony today to sign the agreement for strategic alliance for joint Internet business and PC sales.

The alliance draws attention because four companies each in different areas of business decided to join forces to provide better service to their respective customers.

SK Telecom is the industry leader in mobile services and Hnavit Bank is a financial giant while PC Bank sells Internet PCs and Dream Wiz is an Internet portal company.

Under the agreement, SK Telecom will expand its mobile banking services for cellular users and combine its Speed011 mobile data service n.Top with the Internet to provide more diverse services.

Hanvit Bank will expand its mobile and Internet banking services, and develop new financial services to serve the Internet users with a view to remaining competitive in the electronic finance age.

PC Bank selling the Internet PC will launch a joint marketing campaign with SK Telecom and Hanvit Bank to promote the sales of the Internet PCs, contributing to the building of the national information infrastructure.

Meanwhile, Dream Wiz will deliver the contents of its portal site to SK Telecom users via wireless network.

The alliance is part of the new trend in the Internet-driven industry that the companies providing different services play up their strengths by joining their forces in order to provide services of better quality, attract more users and increase their competitiveness.

The signing ceremony held in the Garnet Room of Lotte Hotel was attended by SK Telecom President Jung Nam Cho, Hanvit Bank Governor Jin Man Kim, PC Bank CEO Byung Sun Song, and Dream Wiz CEO Chan Jin Lee.
