Demonstrates 3G services on WDCMA and TD-SCDMA Networks
Introduces convergence business in China including music, games, telematics and entertainment areas
“Mobile phone is such an essential gadget for Mr. A, who has frequent business meetings outside the office. With his phone, Mr. A reads his emails, downloads contents through Mobile RSS, and checks out the latest trends through I’s box. More often, he communicates with his colleagues who are in the office through the NateOn mobile messenger. While surfing the Internet through the Mobile Web Viewer, he reads a news article on P&T/EXPO COMM 2010, and makes an appointment with his friend B through T-Video Letter to visit the Expo. Mr. A effortlessly drives to the Expo hall with the help of his T-Map Mobile Navigation. To grab a bite, Mr. A then pays for his lunch with his M-Card, a 3G USIM credit card. Looking around the exhibition he calls his other friends to send them pictures and video clips of the Expo through the contents sharing service. On the way back, Mr. A’s friend sitting next to him in the car enjoys his favorite TV show through satellite DMB. This ‘Mobile Life’ is no longer one of the scenes that you would see in an SF movie, but is shaping up to be a part of our lives in the near future. The Government of China, Datang Mobile and SK Telecom are currently conducting joint R&D to deploy this cutting-edge 3G technology, TD-SCDMA, as a real-time service for consumers.”
